Get your students engaged and moving while working with prime and composite numbers, prime factorization, greatest common factors (GCF), and least common multiples (LCM). Prime Factors and Multiples Trashketball is a competitive and motivating math game that involves students working with prime factorization and shooting baskets at the end of each round. There are 6 rounds in this game with 10 questions in round 1 and 8 questions in rounds 2-6. This resource includes a PDF & PowerPoint Slides.

The PowerPoint Slides can be uploaded into Google Drive and assigned through Google Classroom. It won't be a game this way but your students will be able to add a text box and answer the questions.

What's Included:

PDF that includes teacher information, black & white versions (slides, answer keys, rules)

PowerPoint Slides that include rules for students, six rounds in color (each on their own slide, NOT EDITABLE), answer keys, and a blank decorative slide to add more rounds if you wish.

Round 1 - prime or composite

Round 2 - prime factorization written as a multiplication expression

Round 3 - prime factorization written as a multiplication expression using exponent form
