Description

Your students will enjoy finding perimeter, circumference, & area - rectangles, parallelograms, triangles, trapezoids, composite figures, circles - in this engaging math tag relay game. The students join forces in groups for a fun math relay to solve problems correctly in the allotted time. Students are working together, moving around, and enjoying math.

You will need a large space for this so just move the desks to the side or go outside to play. They do not really play tag - when one pair from the group finishes their problem they "tag" the next pair from the group to go and answer a problem. It's a fun and exciting way to practice some math!

Card A: find the perimeter of polygons (whole numbers and decimals)

Card B: find the area of rectangles (1 and 2-digit whole numbers)

Card C: find the area of parallelograms (whole numbers and decimals)

Card D: find the area of triangles (1 and 2-digit whole numbers)

Card E: find the area of trapezoids (1 and 2-digit whole numbers)

Card F: find the area of composite figures (1 and 2-digit whole numbers)

Card G: find the circumference (radius or diameter given, whole numbers)

Card H: find the area of circles (radius or diameter given, whole numbers)
