Description

You will need a large space for this so just move the desks to the side or go outside to play. They do not really play tag - when one pair from the group finishes their problem they "tag" the next pair from the group to go and answer a problem. It's a fun and exciting way to practice some math!

 

Skills Included:

Card A: identify lines (point, ray, line, line segment, parallel lines, intersecting lines, perpendicular lines)

Card B: identify types of angles (acute, right, obtuse, straight)

Card C: using a collage picture, identify lines and angles

Card D: identify polygons (triangle, parallelogram, rectangle, pentagon, hexagon, octagon)

Card E: identify triangles by angles and sides

Card F: identify quadrilaterals (quadrilateral, parallelogram, rectangle, square, rhombus, trapezoid, kite)
